Hyde Park Career Academy

Efficient and innovative planning was needed for this major capital renovation in order to make significant improvements for this south side Chicago Public High School. Upgrades for this project included: cleaning of the exterior masonry (masonry repointing and exterior structural repairs); new window and door installation; installation of new exterior lighting; creation of an accessible entrance; and adding new landscaping planter areas.

For the interior of the building, a number of miscellaneous repairs and finishing was completed along with remodeling of the art exhibition area and the main entry lobby that is sympathetic to the original 1912 design.

Completed in the fall of 2003.
